Is there a reason why post dates are appearing where our names normally go on archived posts?  As far as I can tell there's already a date header being displayed.

Haibun are fun!

A new idea for Mataiku: Haibun! Haiku from MetaFilter posts and an added backstory. What is a haibun? Here are a couple of fun examples of haibun from Modern Haiku Magazine:

How to Back-Date a Metaiku Post

I didn't realize that guest authors don't see the little "publish on" option that allows one to pre- or post-date a post until DaShiv told me. But since DaShiv is brilliant, he also figured out how to get around the problem. Here an excerpt from his email that explains how:

Here's where we talk about anything to do with the main "metaiku" site. Unfortunately, I had to set this up as a separate weblog, which means you need a separate guest invitation to post here (though you can still comment). The good news is that you won't have to register, if you've already done that for Metaiku, so it should be relatively painless. If you want an invitation, you need to email me again (taz thatfunnylittlesymbol citrusmoon.net), or leave your info here.
